FIRST LOOK: New On-Set Photos and Featurette from ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’

If last month’s second teaser trailer for the upcoming ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ wasn’t enough to scratch your nerd itch; then, Annie Leibovit and Vanity Fair have a treat for you. In next month’s issue of Vanity Fair, the legendary photographer will unleash her exclusive photos taken on the set of the upcoming production. The snaps include – stunning new character portraits of an unmasked Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), and a dashing Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac).

Also among the goodies are various behind the scenes photos – including our first glimpse of Oscar winner Lapita Nyong’o providing a motion capture performance for her digital character, Maz Kantana – and a short featurette showcasing Annie Leibovitz time on-set.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on December 17, 2015.
