New Netflix Originals Out Now
Grace and Frankie ~ From Marta Kauffman (‘Friends’) and Howard J Morris (‘Home Improvement’) comes a comedy about two rivals, Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin), forced to live together after their husbands announce they are in love with each other.
Coming Soon To Netflix
Between ~ Jeanette McCurdy (‘iCarly’) stars in this science fiction-drama series about a disease responsible for wiping out everybody over the age of 21 in the small town of Pretty Lake. (May 21)
Sense 8~ Coming June 15th is the new science fiction series from Andy and Lana Wachowski (‘The Matrix’) that tells the story of eight individuals who suddenly find themselves all connected to each other.
Other News
Rosario Dawson has announced that she will be reprising her role as Claire Temple in season two of Daredevil. Daredevil Season one arrived on Netflix early April, and was renewed for a second season within a month of release. The series stars Charlie Cox (‘Boardwalk Empire’) as a blind crime-fighter set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
And finally… everyone’s favourite upcoming 90s reboot ‘The X-Files’ ‘Twin Peaks’ ‘Fuller House’ is getting even “fuller” (I must be the first person to make that joke right?). Dave Coulier, who played Uncle Joey in the original series has announced he will be returning in some capacity to the Netflix reunion series. The series is set to star original cast members Andrea Barber, Candace Cameron Bur and Jodie Sweetin. Still no word on the Olsen Twins…
